Carpet Adhesive With Low VOC Properties

There are many carpet adhesives for sale in the floor covering market. A carpet adhesive is typically made from latex liquid (synthetic or natural), solid resin, filler and performance additives. Many products still contain approximately 5% solvent which aids drying speed to help the adhesive gain its initial tack to grab the curling carpet. Unfortunately solvent can leave a bad smell in the air and the owner of the property may notice a solvent smell for a few days after installation.

Some adhesives also have certain types of solid resin which can leave a bad smell for many weeks after installation and can leave employees feeling unwell where they are using a small office. People with allergies may be particularly affected.

There is an easy answer to the above problems; ACM offers a carpet adhesive as competitively priced as typical competitors products, but with no solvent and no strong resin smell.
