Hygienic polyurethane floor paint and screed
For some industrial applications an epoxy or cementitious system is undesirable, in fact in some cases not suitable. This is particularly where steam cleaning and extremely aggresive chemicals are present. The solution to these problems are polyurethane systems. ACM offer the following products.
ACM Monoflor ST;
A steam cleanable screed which provides a non-slip surface. The screed contains a white flint aggregate which provides the traction, and the resin binding provides the steam cleanable surface. This is one of the most chemical resistant flooring systems on the market, outperforming epoxy by a significant amount. This is the most popular choice in the modern market for food production environments based on the hygienic nature of the surface. Click here for the data sheet for ACM Monoflor ST.
ACM Monoflor SL;
A hot water resistant smooth finish for generally dry areas but suitable where encountering occasional spillages. This is usually specified in laboratories which are usually dry but occasionally encounter severely aggresive chemicals. The appearance is matt and available in a wide range of colours.
