Nonshrink Grout Fills The Void

It is important when anchoring stanchions, machine bases, bridge bearings or starter bars to use a pourable grout to both fill the void and to provide strength. Pourable nonshrink grouts help to prevent movement, vibration, and stop bolts from coming undone. There are two types of grout available:

ACM Cement Grout Cx-1 is a pourable cement based product. Mixed with water this material reaches up to 70N/mm² and is relatively low cost. Click here for the product data sheet.

ACM Epoxy Grout Ex-1 is epoxy based and provides extra strength, chemical resistance and stops vibration. This material is especially suitable where vibrating machinery will be used that creates high shear forces. Click here for the product data sheet.

For calculation purposes, the density of both products is approximately 2000kg per cubic metre, so therefore 0.5 cubic metres would require 1000kg of product.
