Aircraft Hangar Flooring For A Dust Free Surface

This aircraft hangar floor needed upgrading. The first step was to prepare the surface using a fast, efficient vacuum shotblasting machine.

There was evidence of rising damp in the concrete so the floor was coated with ACM Damp Proof Membrane primer. This effective coating suppresses rising damp, allowing the application of paints, carpet or other floorings.

ACM Epoxicote heavy duty sealer was then applied to provide an extremely durable, chemical resistant and easily cleaned floor. Two coats were applied to give maximum durability. Click here for the product data sheet.

The bright, attractive appearance has transformed the area and eliminated dust problems. The surface even resists the jet fuel often dripped onto the floor.
