factory floor marking
There is a wide range of methods for factory floor marking available and ACM is able to help solve the problem whatever your needs.
GRP Permanent Lines: These are virtually indestructible fibreglass line marking for heavy wear - they will last many years in the most severe environments. The method is easy, simply drill the substrate and screw fix the ACM GRP Line to the floor. This system costs approximately £5 per linear metre of 50mm wide line.
Epoxy Paint: This is the toughest paint type for floor marking, whether it is for lines, aisleways or area designation. A number of years wear life may be achieved using our ACM Epoxicote product and it is very low cost per linear metre. Costs appproximately £0.40 per linear metre of 50mm wide line.
Thermoplastic Line: This is a great simple system which works on car parks and even roads. The line or even symbol is simply put in place and heated using a special blow torch (which we supply). The sign/line melts and then sets and bonds into place on the substrate. Costs approximately £3.60 per linear metre of 100mm wide line.
Spray Systems: ACM offer a spray system which involves a one or four wheel applicator and cans of the spray paint. The system works by literally walking along the area and spray as you walk. This is a very simple and rapid method of application and is extremely low cost. The downside is durability; the product tends to last months rather than years in heavy traffic, although regular recoating is simple. Costs approximately £0.20 per linear metre excluding the cost of the applicator.
